We went exploring the other day. The goal was to find a hiking path on a high ridge. I had read about the path a while back in an old trekking guide. We found the ridge, but no clear way to get to the top. Recent removal of an adjacent hill has made the trek inaccessible and the guidebook outdated. We did, however, discover a very scenic fishing village. Instead of hiking, we walked around the streets and just soaked in the landscape. Not a bad way to spend a (sunny and hot) morning.
